Hector Aguilar Lyre Set   $479.00 CS1015   "Lyre" sterling silver necklace and post earrings set, designed originally by Hector Aguilar. This is one of Hector's more famous designs and is highly collectible. It is a design from the 1940s and is contemporary as today. This work of art was reproduced by Taxco master silversmith, Jose Luis Flores who was with Hector for many years at the Taller Borda. The necklace feels smooth as silk on and its styling will take you from day wear and into the evening. It has a patina that will only increase over the years giving the silver a wonderful glow and depth. Each link has an overlay of silver and then is accented with a three silver ball fastener between each link. The set weighs 149 grams and moves beautifully. The necklace is 16 1/2" long by 3/4" wide and has a simple hook closure. The post earrings are 1 1/4" high by 5/8" wide and look great by themselves also. This is a true classic set, one you will wear often and never part with.
