"Mayan Cross", an original design by William Spratling. This was one of Spratling's best known designs that was produced in his taller in the mid 1940s.The interesting Pre-Columbian design originated from a Codex of Mixtec history which was a theme that Spratling used for much of his design inspiration. Its cross design was one of Spratling's most successful in his design history.  The weighty 214 gram set consists of a necklace and post earrings. It was perfectly reproduced by one of Taxco's finest silversmiths. The necklace measures 17 1/2" by 7/8" and the earrings are 1" by 7/8" wide.
