"Pescado with Ball", sleek, contemporary design originally created by Bernice Goodspeed from Taxco's wonderful golden era. This 1955 design could have been created yesterday, with its totally modern styling. Extremely well made by one of Taxco's top silversmiths who also teaches silversmithing. For a photo of the original, see "Mexican Silver" by Penny Morrill and Carole Burk, page 130. The set is made in .970 silver, is a total of 196 grams and feels wonderful on. The necklace measures 16" by 1 5/8" and the post earrings, which are also exquisite by themselves, measure 1 1/2' by 1/4". It is stamped GJ, Mexico 970.
