Manuel Porcayo Figueroa Silver Tiger   $449.00 O1603   "Silver Tiger" necklace in sterling silver and natural Yellow Jasper stone from Guerrero, Mexico. This wonderful work of art was designed by well know Taxco designer Manuel Porcayo Figueroa. It is a labor intensive piece of jewelry to produce, starting with hand-forming the sterling, cutting and polishing the Yellow Jasper which is then inlaid into the design. For extra accent, the body and tail are highlighted with oxidize to bring dimension to this animal. The wrap-a-round tail is hinged at crucial points so the piece lies beautifully on the neck. For the final whimsical touch, Manuel has designed a bone closure, which is very secure. The delightful piece weighs 141 grams and measures 18" by 2 3/4" (from the top of head to the paw).
