Manuel Porcayo Figueroa Silver Tiger   $449.00 O1603   "Silver Tiger" necklace created in sterling silver and natural Yellow Jasper stone from Guerrero, Mexico. This gorgeous work of art was designed by well known Taxco designer, Manuel Porcayo Figueroa. It is a labor intensive piece of jewelry to create, starting with hand-forming the silver, then hand-cutting and polishing the stone. The stone is then meticulously inlaid into the silver body. For extra accent and dimension, oxidize is applied to the form the lines on the body and tail to bring this tiger to life. The wrap-a-round tail is hinged at crucial points so the piece lies perfectly on the neck. For the final whimsical touch, Manuel has added a bone as the secure closure.
