William Spratling The Spratling Monkey   $199.00 C1090   A later Spratling design of "The Monkey" in the 1960s. A fabulous reproduction in sterling silver with Rosewood inlay. This pendant/brooch combination is a wonderful example of the fine handcrafted skills learned in the Spratling Taller and was handcrafted for Mexican Silver Designs by a seasoned silversmith who spent nine years perfecting his craft. See the book, "William Spratling and the Silver Renaissance" by Penny Morrill, page 61. The work of art is 3 1/4" by 2 1/2" and is 46.5 grams of .925 silver.
